LPV Thanksgiving Dinner

We had a good crowd for a delicious Thanksgiving dinner in the clubhouse. Thanks to Karen Champ and her crew for hosting. We followed it up with the lighting of Maggie and Rich's Christmas decorations.

LPV Palms

Last week we had an occasion to drive through another mobile home park and we realized one of the things that makes LPV such an attractive community, our trees and especially our palms.

Our CERT Team - Thank You

I was just walking past the Library on Saturday when I saw Pam Hanvik body slamming someone. It turned out to be V V LaPointe (our medical mannequin). It was another classroom day for our team who put in 1600 hours of classroom training last year (their first year of existence). If you see any of these folks, thank them for their service. They are a dedicated and skilled group who put in a lot of time to make us safer and it really showed during Hurricane Irma. Thanks LPV CERT team. Members of the team Bill Hanvik, Rich Gibbons, Bob Clifford, Pam Hanvik, Jessica Hale, Doug Stamper and Bruce Carpenter (absent Angela Kieb, Donna and Bill Pope) and of course the very pretty/handsome VV Lapointe.

I spotted the AED on my way out and thought it was worth a shot
