Century Plant - Agave Americana
There is a century plant growing in the berm garden near Anne and Addieès house on Lake Pointe. A giant shoot appeared a few days ago and is already 10 feet high. As these plants near the end of their life these shoots (looking like a giant asparagus) appear, grow quickly and flower with a yellow blossom.
